Notre Dame has been blessed throughout its history by thousands upon thousands of alumni, parents and friends who have contributed financially to the University’s unique mission. We are grateful for and humbled by this support. With it, we are able to continue our quest to become a pre-eminent research university with an unwavering commitment to undergraduate education and our Catholic character.

More specifically, contributions to the University have allowed for:

• Dramatic growth in financial aid, to the point that Notre Dame now meets the full demonstrated need of all admitted students
• The addition of world-class scholars dedicated to our distinctive mission
• The care and preservation of campus facilities such as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the renovation of Cavanaugh Hall
• The expansion and renovation of stadiums and arenas for many Irish athletic programs
• The development of strategic initiatives like the Notre Dame Forum and the pray.nd.edu website.
