Football Ticket Lottery Guidelines

To receive an application for the 2010 season, Notre Dame alumni and special contributors must make a gift between January 1 and December 31, 2009, in accordance with the gift minima listed below. Graduates of the class of 2009 receiving their first degree from Notre Dame will automatically receive an application for the 2008 season. Make a gift now.

What gifts count toward eligibility in the lottery?

Any gift to Notre Dame–whether to the Annual Fund, as a payment on an existing pledge commitment, or to any University-sponsored program–is credited toward eligibility. Corporate matching gifts do not count toward eligibility. All gifts should be made directly to the University by December 31 to be eligible for the following year’s lottery.

Important Dates to Note:

  • April: Lottery applications are mailed by the Athletic Ticket Office.
  • May: Lottery applications are due back to the Athletic Ticket Office.
  • July: Lottery results are announced online and through the mail.
  • August: Football tickets are mailed to lottery winners.
  • November: Special Designation Games are announced.
  • December 31: Deadline for making gifts to qualify for the following year’s ticket lottery.

Ticket Resale Policy

Notre Dame is committed to actively monitoring and enforcing its ticket resale policy in an effort to curb resale for profit and ticket fraud. Nearly 7,000 tickets have been suspended or revoked since the policy's implementation. Suspected resale violation information can be sent to seller1@nd.edu.
